The new series of electronic roller shutter motors with a large scope of performance and a plug`n`play assembly recognizes both the correct direction of rotation and the position of the end positions. The permanent torque monitoring detects obstacles in the downward travel as well as a frozen roller shutter (freeze protection). So that these functions can be guaranteed, you need tube connectors, such as the Secu-Block, which also serves as a security device. Thanks to the excellent software of the motor, it is able to automatically correct the end positions even after installation. Furthermore, up to 3 motors can be connected in parallel without the need for an additional relay. Somfy motor with electronic torque monitoring (Somfy Drive Control). The end positions are constantly checked by the motor and corrected if necessary. The light stop ensures a low load on the curtain and stop through constant optimization of the stop forces. The motor's obstacle detection detects whether the roller shutter is running against an obstacle or is blocked (e.g. by freezing) and switches off automatically without being damaged. Somfy Oximo motors can be connected in parallel directly and without an additional isolating relay. The plug-in connection cable is connected to the motor via a plug connection and can be easily exchanged if necessary. The tubular motors are equipped with a durable planetary gear and are completely maintenance-free. In the event of high heat development, the integrated thermal protection switch protects the motor from overheating. After cooling down, operation is possible again.
